Our ward had a big luau last weekend. It was so much fun!
They roasted three pigs. We showed it to Zoe before she ate, and she still tried it. When she was getting some, there was a hoof hanging off the table and she asked what it was. We explained everything and she just went along with it. She really surprised me.

Wow! She sure isn't a Vegetarian.. I am amazed that she ate it anyway even with the hoof on the table! She is so awesome! I prefer not to think about where my food comes from, but that is just me....
That is a cool bar-b-q deal that some polynesian made ... that rocks! A lot of ingenuity went into that.
The alternative is digging a massive hole in the ground to steam cook them ...
At a luau you get to really see where your meat comes from ... and it isn't from little styrofoam & plastic wrap packages ... :-)
Wow! It really was a full on luau! I've never been to one where they actually roast the pig. Looks like fun! Hope you guys are doing well!
