Molly's Turn :P

Sooooooooo I have been very blessed in my life. I have seen my fair share of downs, but have been very lucky to have been blessed with ups as well. Recently I have been feeling very very blessed. Part of this feeling comes from the fact that Missy has gone above and beyond for my birthday this year (Yes it's not until September). Last year I did what I could to spoil her. New nice vacuum, big REAL earrings...but this year Missy has been the one going all out for me. Her most recent "early" birthday present for me was a new backdrop. We had seen a few online, and there were some that we thought were really cute. But it always felt more like "window shopping" in that I was content to look, and dream. Missy on the other hand as most of you know isn't as much a dreamer as she is a do-er, hence the new backdrop, and these wonderful pictures of Molly. I toyed around with the idea of editing them, but felt that they were so beautiful just as is, that I thought I would leave them and post the original images. I've only recently started doing any sort of "real" photography and have learned a ton over the course of just a couple of months. Missy has been very supportive and very kind as well, and I feel very blessed that I have been able to have this chance to take pictures, and that they have been turning out well. Thanks Molly for being such a good sport, and thanks Missy for being so great! (Oh and by the way, Friday is Missy's Birthday for anyone who wasn't sure!!!!!)

Missy got her braces off!!!!!

I (Anthony) made it home from work yesterday and Missy wasn't here. She was telling me that there was an overdraft on our account and that she had to hurry over to the bank to put money in it or else they would charge us. I didn't think too much of it, but thought that it was kinda odd that she didn't mention anything about it until after I was already home. So I went outside and started mowing the lawn. About half hour later our neighbor pulled up to the curb, and Missy stepped out. Right away I could tell what had happened.......She got her braces off! Last night Missy had pushed really hard to get her hair done, and I didn't know why, but as she stepped out of the van with her nice new hairdo, looking so beautiful, and without braces, it was obvious that she had been working really hard to keep this all a big surprise! Well I was surprised :) I had promised her a nice dinner the night (or night after) she got her braces off, as a celebratory meal, and so we went out to celebrate last night, and then came home, and Missy FINALLY consented to be my model for some pictures!!!!! We didn't have anyone to watch the kids, so it had to be really quick, and we had to come in between poses, but here are some of the pictures from that shoot. She looks AMAZING!! (And the best part is, now that she has her braces off I will be able to take pictures of her all the time now, so there are more to come!)
